An Oklahoma judge and her husband have been accused of 36 counts of fraud for allegedly adopting twins and secretly giving them away to the sister of the judge’s bailiff.
Oklahoma County District Judge Tammy Bass-LeSure and her husband, Karlos LeSure, were charged Jan. 21, 2011. State prosecutors allege that the judge kept some of the money paid to her for the children and spent it on trips to spas, casinos and nail salons.
